The ETI BP-50C are very high performance speaker terminals at a contained price. Made of a 1100 Series Hardened Copper conductor with an IAC of 102% (conductivity index), these terminals ensure an audio signal that will not be degraded.
In addition, the BP-50Cs have a gold plating, applied without the use of Nickel. While many manufacturers use Nickel prior to gold plating to provide a brighter finish, this also reduces conductivity and therefore the quality of the audio signal.
On the structure side, these terminal blocks are equipped with an Aluminium body and Polymer bushings. The Polymer ring allows to have no conductive material in contact with the Copper, and the Aluminium is an excellent material to reject EM / RF noise that could disturb the signal.
It's easy to assemble. While you can of course fix your cable by soldering, the BP-50C also offers a screw fixing system for easy mounting.
ETI opts here for a 50mm long post, allowing a large contact area between the terminal block and the conductor of your cable. The nut used to fix the terminal blocks is made of a non-conductive high density polymer, so that no conductive material touches the copper post, except your cable.
